The Teddington Hands Inn (formerly known as The Cross Hands At Teddington) originally stood on the crossroads of the Stow Road and Evesham Road.
The earliest record of the building as a pub was in 1893 when it was classified as a Wayside Inn. The present owners have unearthed some old photographs, including the one picture right, which probably dates in the late 1930's and shows an RAC Patrolman standing near the pub just below the crossroads, presumably to direct traffic. |
